As technology generally continues to advance, one thing you can be sure of is the criminal justice system’s use of innovative new “tools” will grow exponentially. This can be a good thing, but it can also be a very dangerous thing. Pennsylvania’s new law that permits the use of data showing whether people are “deemed likely to commit additional crimes” in criminal sentencing, is a perfect example of how an over reliance on technology can be a threat to liberty and due process.
Russian Missile Destroyer "Fires Warning Shots" To Avoid Collision With Turkish Vessel
Another day, another military escalation between Russia and Turkey , this time not in the air, but on the war in the northern part of the Aegean sea, where as Sputnik reports the crew of the Russian "Smetlivy" destroyer was forced to use firearms on Sunday to prevent a collision with a Turkish seiner vessel according to Russia's Ministry of Defense.
Turkey's version of events is comparable, with Hurriyet reporting that "a Russian warship had to fire warning shots at a Turkish vessel in the Aegean Sea to avoid collision.

West Lake landfill has illegally dumped nuclear waste. Republic Services Bridgeton landfill has a subsurface fire burning dangerously close to the nuclear waste. Bill Gates is Republic's largest stockholder, and EPA is a lapdog for corporate. St. Louis is facing a dirty bomb type event of goliath proportions due to Republic's negligence.
