Terror Keeps Pupils Away From School After Xmas Holidays

Three quarters of pupils from a Blackpool school failed to show up for the first day of the new term after a terror message was posted online, threatening a gun massacre at the school by an unknown Facebook user. Officials say that the school is safe for students to return back to class. Some students may require counselling before they return.  The police are investigating the threats and guarding the school.

Labour MP Simon Danczuk Investigated Over Rape Claim

MP Simon Danczuk is facing a police investigation after a rape allegation was made against him. The claim against the 49 year old Rochdale MP dates back to 2006, according to the Lancashire police force who confirmed they are investigating the allegation Mr Danczuk has branded the accusation dating back to 2006 as “malicious, untrue and extremely upsetting”. The Labour MP has been in the spotlight recently after being suspended by the party following allegations that he ‘sexted’ a 17-year-old girl in his constituency.
