In what may serve as a catalyst for another US military intervention in Syria, a blast has reportedly hit a convoy of buses carrying evacuees from the government-held towns of Fuaa and Kefraya near the Syrian city of Aleppo. The blast was reportedly caused by a suicide attacker detonating a car bomb according to Syrian state TV while local press estimates that up to 60 civilians have been killed in the explosion.
Russia has destroyed the CIA-funded al-Nusra HQ near Aleppo, killing at least 67 terrorists, including 19 field commanders. Fulfilling Putin’s promise that Russia would destroy U.S.-backed terrorist groups such as ISIS, Russian Aerospace forces successfully obliterated the al-Nusra HQ on February 28. The Syrian government - a dictatorship known for imprisoning, torturing and disappearing dissidents - is easy to vilify. And over the last five years of Syria’s civil war, it has committed its share of atrocities. But there is more than one side to every story, and US media coverage has mainly reflected one side—that of the rebels—without regard for accuracy or basic context.

ISIS cut off the water supply from two processing plants on the Euphrates, east of the city of Aleppo on Friday. Aleppo’s Water Organization, Syria’s Red Crescent Society and local residents are having to look for ways to restore the water supply to the city which was recently liberated from terrorists. They are meanwhile relying on local water wells and water bottles until the situation is resolved. Press TV reports: Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria have resorted to cutting off water supplies to different residential areas in an apparent bid to retaliate battlefield losses.
