It seems billion dollar baby of Silcon Valley, Elizabeth Holmes, is facing yet another unicorn-slaying moment as the fairy-take ending for Stanford drop-out looks increasingly distant after WSJ reports regulators are seeking ban the so-called "billionaire" from the blood-tsting business for two years after U.S. health inspectors have found serious deficiencies at Theranos Inc.’s laboratory in Northern California.

As The Wall Street Journal reports,

At the start of the month we focused on what is set to soon be the new buzzword in economic circles: staglation. Specifically, we referred to the the explicit and inverse correlation between corporate profits and employee wages.

Starting early today, over 36,000 Verizon workers will go on strike after the firm failed - after 8 months of 'negotiations' - to meet two union's demands (which merely includes controlling health care costs, protecting well-paying jobs and expanding the ranks of the workers who have them).

Back during the anti-apartheid era, there arose a boycott movement among performing artists to avoid Sun City, a South African resort. Little Steven (Van Zandt) organized a protest video, “I Ain’t Gonna Play Sun City” to publicize the boycott.
