At the risk of being crass, we've said on several occasions that the Paris attacks, the San Bernardino massacre, and the wave of sexual assaults that have swept Western Europe are the best things that ever happened to Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
Tuesday morning will live in infamy for Belgium where the country's worst fears finally coalesced into a coordinated terror attack that at last count had left more than two dozen people killed and many more seriously injured.
For months, Belgian authorities were on edge after it became apparent that the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek was used as a staging area for the attacks that killed some 130 people in Paris last November.
“Things reveal themselves passing away,” wrote W. B. Yeats.
Whatever one may think of Donald Trump, his campaign has done us a service—exposing the underbelly of a decaying establishment whose repudiation by America’s silent majority is long overdue.

There is nothing wrong with attack ads: Trump's first attack ad against Hillary Clinton was creative, original, imaginative - it included Jihadi John, a barking Hillary Clinton and a cackling Putin. It promptly went viral. Hillary's retort was basically a duller version of the original Trump ad; it was ok although Hillary's SuperPAC will have to do much better to keep the entertainment level on par.
However, when a conservative, anti-Trump group decided to run Facebook ads which showcased naked photos of Melania Trump, we wonder: what were they thinking?
