American ISIS Convert Teen To Face Death Penalty

Justin Sullivan, the 19 year old who sought to hire a hitman on his parents, killed his elderly neighbor, and wished to kill thousands is now also the first American ISIS convert to face the death penalty for his crimes, according to The Charlotte Observer: District Attorney David Learner announced Monday that he will try Sullivan’s alleged murder of 74-year-old John Bailey Clark as a capital case. The FBI says Sullivan shot Clark in 2014 to get money for an assault rifle to use in a mass killing.  Sullivan was arrested last June and charged with federal terrorism-related crimes.

Dow up again yesterday! According to Wall Street analysts, investors were front running a non-event. The Fed is in a credit “tightening cycle”, but without the tightening. On Wednesday, it announced it was leaving short-term rates unchanged at 0.5%.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has told a gathering in Salt Lake City that America is now a poor ‘third world country’ with infrastructure that is ancient compared to other countries. AlAlam reports: “We have become a third world country, folks!,” Trump told supporters at an election rally. “If you go to places like Dubai, China, you look at the roads, at the rail roads, they have the bullet trains that go 100s of miles an hour. And if you go to New York, they’re like 100 years ago,” he said.

The question many voters have, is how exactly he plans to do it. The frontrunner has thrown some rather vague ideas out there, some of which focus on trade. Everyone has by now heard the “Trump stump”: “We don’t win anymore. We’re getting killed on trade. We make terrible deals. We’re losing to China.”
