The unanimous very smart person take on Trump’s firing of James Comey is that it’s a political disaster which will lead to total ruin and possibly his impeachment.

Taking the generous way out, former FBI Director James Comey sent a farewell letter on Wednesday to friends and agents, in which he notes he does not bear a grudge and notes that "a President can fire an FBI Director for any reason, or for no reason at all" and adds that "I'm not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed. I hope you won't either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply."
In a new study entitled "Lifetime Incomes in the United States over Six Decades," economists from University of Minnesota, the University of Chicago and Princeton University took a look at the median lifetime earnings (from ages 25 - 55) of Americans over a multi-decade period starting in 1960. And while we would typically recommend a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to reviewing 'economic' studies, this one actually makes some sense... we know because we've been saying it for some time now.

Seeming Contradiction
We often have fun ridiculing the pretensions, absurdities, and hypocrisies of the ruling classes. But there is a serious side to it, too. Mockery makes us laugh. And laughing helps us wiggle free from the kudzu of fake news.
