While America avoided having another Redneck (or in honor of Bill Clinton should we say ‘HillBilly’ ) in the White House, there’s big Redneck karma for America as millions of Rednecks went out and voted for Trump, many of whom never voted before in their lives, many of whom can't read.  Certainly this didn’t alone get Trump elected, but it didn’t hurt.  And they sho feel praud!

Smith & Wesson Reports Record Sales; Stock Slumps On Weak Guidance

Moments ago, America's legendary gun maker Smith & Wesson reported second quarter earnings which, not surprisingly, beat estimates on the top and bottom line, reporting non-GAAP earnings of $39.1 million, or EPS of $0.68, far above the $0.58 expected, and some 172% higher compared to a year earlier, on revenue of $233.5 million -a 63% increase Y/Y - which beat the high end of the company's own guidance of $230 million, as well as beating street estimates of $227.5 million. Quarterly Adjusted EBITDAS was $72.4 million, or 31.0% of net sales.

Gallup first began asking if Americans trusted the mainstream media in 1972. America’s trust and confidence in mainstream media stood at its highest level back in 1976 at 72%. Of course, that was due to the investigative journalism regarding Vietnam, and naturally Woodward and Berstein, with the Watergate scandal.
