Either the WaPo has pulled off another "fake news" stunt, or Obama may be this close from declaring "cyber war" on Putin.

Moments ago, the Jeff Bezos newspaper, whose main mission over the past month has been to pin Clinton's presidential failure first on Russia and then on Vladimir Putin, reported that FBI Director James B. Comey and Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. have backed a CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election in part to help Donald Trump win the presidency, "according to U.S. officials."

Rogue elements within the Shadow Government and most notably the CIA, NSA, and the left coast billionaire class have launched an anti-Trump campaign in the hail mary long shot that they can disrupt the establishment in the final days when they still hold the keys to the kingdom with the intent of malice to incite a coup, civil war, or an upset in the electoral college system.  One of the main information manipulation tactics they are using we can paraphrase as "1. Confuse, 2. Plant false facts, and 3.

Even in an election year as shot through with conspiracy theories as this one, it would have been hard to imagine a bigger bombshell than Russia intervening to help Donald Trump. But that’s exactly what the CIA believes happened, or so unnamed “officials brief on the matter” told the Washington Post.

As Democrats, the Obama administration and some neocon Republicans slide deeper into conspiracy theories about how Russia somehow handed the presidency to Donald Trump, they are behaving as they accused Trump of planning to behave if he had lost, questioning the legitimacy of the electoral process and sowing doubts about American democracy.
