California Governor Jerry Brown has declared a State of Emergency in Ventura County due to the Thomas Fire.

“This fire is very dangerous and spreading rapidly, but we'll continue to attack it with all we've got,” Brown said.

 

“It's critical residents stay ready and evacuate immediately if told to do so.”

As SHTFplan.com's Mac Slavo details, over 27,000 people have been evacuated and 150 structures destroyed in another raging fire in California.

The Great San Francisco Earthquake struck on April 18th, 1906 (1906.295).

Based upon our model that monitors earthquakes due to their impact on the economy (1906 quake led to the Panic of 1907 and the formation to create the Federal Reserve in 1913), the risk for a major earthquake turns up in 2018.
