HPV Vaccine Users Sue Government In Japan In Landmark Case

A class action lawsuit has been filed in Japan from victims suffering the side effects of the HPV vaccine who now have severe cognitive problems as a result.  The victims have filed the suit against makers of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine Cervarix and Gardsil, as well as the Japanese government who had originally recommended the vaccine to citizens. Japantimes.co.jp reports: “The victims wish to live a peaceful life and prevent further suffering by finding out the truth (about the vaccine side effects),” Minaguchi added.

Outraged citizens in China are demanding to know why the Chinese government allowed potentially lethal vaccines to be distributed to millions of children, risking their health and lives.  News of a huge vaccine scandal emerged after an illegal vaccine ring was discovered by the government in April 2015, which had been operating since 2011, distributing $88 million worth of dangerous vaccines to the public. It is unknown how widespread the vaccine program was, nor how many people died or will die as a result.

A sexual predator and “window peeper” is causing havoc in a small California town. However, what has people talking isn’t what the man has been doing, but what he looks like in a police sketch based on witness testimony. According to GeoBeats News: In the drawing, the suspect’s eyes appear as both unnaturally large and more than a little eerie. Though the depiction questions physical possibility, witnesses swear it is accurate, eyes and all. The individual is being sought for a number of incidents in which he approached women near their homes and watched some through their windows.

Three Teens From Florida Die After Car They Stole Sinks Into Pond

Police in Florida are investigating the death of three teenage girls after a car they stole went into a pond, submerging and trapping all of the girls inside. Yahoo News reports: “That car became a death chamber for those girls,” Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said in a news conference Thursday. The bodies of Dominique Battle, 16, Ashaunti Butler, 15, and Laniya Miller, 15, were found after the car drove into the pond around 4 a.m. EDT (0800 GMT) as the driver apparently was trying to evade police, Gualtieri said.

Police kill Unarmed Man After He Pleads ‘Please Don’t Shoot Me’

An unarmed man was shot dead outside his hotel room by an Arizona cop moments after he pleaded for his life while crawling on his knees. Unarmed 26-year-old father of two Daniel Shaver pleaded “please don’t shoot me” while made to crawl on the floor toward police officers, only to be shot dead moments later. Azcentral reports: A witness and a transcription of officer video footage describe Daniel Shaver saying “Please don’t shoot me” and “Please don’t shoot,” just before an officer later identified as Philip “Mitch” Brailsford fired his service weapon.
