Dad Suffocates Young Son On Christmas Eve By Sitting On Him

A father of two suffocated his youngest son to death as punishment for not going to bed on time during Christmas Eve. The 19-stone dad sat playing computer games, as he used his weight to pin down and smother his six year old son against the couch, according to police. The Mirror reports: James “Rick” Dearman, 31, carried on playing games with his live-in girlfriend at the same time he was squeezing the life from his child, according to cops. Sarasota County Sheriff’s Deputies say the dead boy’s 7-year-old sibling watched the horrific incident.

Open Source Pioneer Murdered After Police Brutality Claims

The creator of the Debian project, Ian Murdoch, has been found dead after a series of public statements in which he claimed to be the victim of police brutality.  The Open Source pioneer threatened to commit suicide in a series of Tweets, where he also claimed the police had “sent him to hospital”. Breitbart.com reports: Murdock’s untimely death was announced in a blog post on the website of Docker, an open source software project to which he contributed. The cause of death was not specified, but prior to his death, Murdock had made multiple tweets about committing suicide.

Anonymous: ‘Making A Murderer’ Doc Proves Steven Avery’s Innocence

Hacktivist group Anonymous have claimed that they have evidence to prove that a convicted murderer, featured in the Netflix documentary ‘Making A murderer’, is in fact innocent.  The documentary follows Steven Avery in a case involving the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department. According to Avery’s lawyers, much of the evidence against him was planted. Independent.co.uk reports: The group has set up a Twitter account to taunt the two police officers who are profiled in the film, claiming that they have found emails and phone records that support the allegations.
