NATO Ships ‘Escorting’ Admiral Kuznetsov, A ‘Serious Military Mission’

More than 50 NATO ships escorted the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov to Syria and back during its mission to end the Syrian conflict. Russian military commentator Viktor Baranets says this was by no means “an easy walk” for them. He says NATO was conducting a “serious military mission” while “escorting” the Admiral Kuznetsov.

Russian Spy Ship Spotted Off US East Coast

The last time a Russian spy ship was spotted in relative proximity to the US, was in September 2015, when shortly after five Chinese naval ships were observed in the Bering Sea, U.S. military satellites identified a Russian spy ship - capable of cutting undersea communications cables and other sensors - off the coast of Kings Bay, Ga., home to the U.S. Navy’s East Coast ballistic missile submarine fleet. Needless to say, the US navy - and Pentagon - were quite displeased: after all it is only Russia that is allowed to be surrounded by NATO forces.

Thousands Protest Against Immigration Crackdown In Milwaukee

A proposed crackdown on illegal immigration by Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has forced thousands of protestors to gather in the south side of the city. Thousands of Wisconsin demonstrators took part in the “Day Without Latinos” protest march on Monday to stop local law enforcement officers getting deputised as federal immigration agents. Activists travelling by bus from at least twelve cities across the states raised both American and Mexican flags and headed for Milwaukee County Courthouse to see Sheriff David Clarke.

Donald Trump's anticipated, if so far unofficial, reaction to the Flynn resignation hit moments ago when the president tweeted in response to the brewing scandal that "The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal on N.Korea etc?"
