The Justice Department Inspector General has launched a review of the actions of the Federal Bureau of Investigations and Department of Justice leading up to the 2016 presidential election.

The review will include FBI Director James Comey's news conference in July and his two letters to the Hill in late October and early November.

Before the Nov. 8 election, Comey sent a letter to lawmakers that said the FBI discovered new emails related to Clinton.

 

Millionaire heretic Madonna has revealed that she practiced Jewish mystical witchcraft on election night to make Donald Trump lose. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Madonna described focussing on Trump’s image on the TV screen while “lighting candles, meditating, praying, offering our lives” as her agent and friend recited verses from the Quran. She goes on to say that her agent knew someone who worked on the Clinton campaign, and that early in the night they heard that things were not going as expected for the Democratic nominee. ‘It was just like watching a horror show.

While Carl Icahn infamously made a killing following the "surprise" Trump election, another prominent hedge fund manager was not nearly as lucky. According to the WSJ, "George Soros lost nearly $1 billion as a result of the stock-market rally spurred by Donald Trump’s surprise presidential election."

Which, of course means, he only has $29 or so billion left.

The cold war is officially back.

The Senate Armed Services Committee is currently hearing the testimony of retired Marine General James Mattis, picked by Donald Trump to take over the Department of Defense.

Update: Trump's spokesperson just confirmed: "Marine Le Pen is not meeting with any member of the trump transition team today."
