A little over a month ago, conventional wisdom (and overrated pundits) said that Trump has no chance of being the republican nominee. They were all wrong, but so was the market which continued to ignore the possibility of a Trump presidency until well after the fact. And, as always happens, now is when if not the market, then certainly Goldman's clients are finally trying to catch up. As Goldman strategist David Kostin (who just one week ago warned that there is now a substantial risk of a market drop ahead of the year end), writes "Politics is now a topic in every client discussion."

When it comes to Ron Paul's feelings about Donald Trump, he has made it quite clear what he thinks in the past:

As Paul added, Donald Trump is shrewd and really wants to sell himself as an outsider. He understands how to stir the many people who are unhappy.

How Obama Gets Away With It

At a time when large numbers of Americans say they are fed up with politics and politicians, why is it that the nation’s chief politician, President Obama, seems to skate above it unscathed?

Former Israeli Prime minister Ehud Barak has said that Israel is drifting toward fascism under Benjamin Netanyahu. He also said that the current government “needs to be brought down.” RT reports: Barak, who led the country for over a decade in the 1990s and later served as defense minister under Ehud Olmert and Benjamin Netanyahu, was commenting on the latest government reshuffle made this week by his former boss.

As the Clinton campaign continues to stumble along trying to figure out just how to attack Trump, The Donald is wasting no time showing Hillary how that's done.

Trump has already put together the narrative he plans to use in order to defeat Clinton this fall, and the plan is very simple: Paint Hillary as a crooked, untrustworthy candidate who wants to confiscate everyone's guns.
