I mentioned Rubio’s difficulties in Florida earlier this week, but they may be even worse than the polls suggest. As it has done in so many other states, the Rubio campaign has neglected doing basic organizational work and has now run out of time to build the organization it absolutely has to have:
Former ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton administered a heavy dose of alarmism to CPAC during his speech on Thursday morning.
Now a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Bolton primarily used the platform to bash Hillary Clinton, even though there were presumably no Clinton supporters in the audience to be persuaded. He framed his argument by systematically critiquing her foreign policy, but the statements he made on the South China Sea bordered on fear mongering.
An extraordinary article by Rusty Reno, who says he believes Trump is a dangerous figure, but who admits that the rise of Trump has taught him about his own errors of judgment. Increasing its threat against Russia, Turkey is setting up a terrorist training camp in Ukraine. The deputy prime minister of Russia’s Republic of Crimea said on Saturday that Turkish military instructors, whose objective is to train mercenaries, have gathered in Ukraine’s southern region of Kherson, bordering Crimea. Sputnik news reports: “We have reliable information that a plenty of military instructors from Turkey have gathered in the Kherson Region of Ukraine.
