South Korea Protesters Clash With Police Over Deployment Of US THAAD Missiles

South Koreans clashed with police ahead of the deployment of four more Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) systems in southern South Korea. Per Yonhapnews, the clash occurred as police were trying to disperse about 400 residents from their community center near the U.S. missile defense base in Seongju, some 300 kilometers south of Seoul.

Bloomberg reports that President Trump and Congress have agreed on a Harvey Aid, Debt-Limit extension continuing resolution through Dec 15th. T-Bill yields confirmed their earlier plunge and gold is tumbling on the short-term can-kicking effort.

With a several month debt ceiling extension now practically guaranteed absent some last minute diplomatic fiasco, moments ago the US House approved an $8 billion in Hurricane Harvey relief aid.
