The Middle Class Is Now The Company Store Class

Students usually don’t think of themselves as a class. They seem “pre-class,” because they have not yet entered the labor force. They can only hope to become part of the middle class after they graduate. And that means becoming a wage earner – what impolitely is called the working class.
With first the Fed, and then the ECB and BOJ, all expected to start reducing their balance sheets over the next two years, a bevy of central bankers has been busy on the jawboning circuit, explaining why this would not have a major impact on either bond yields or stocks.

After the Brexit referendum, more EU citizens are leaving Britain, while less Europeans are coming in. As the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics show, 2016 brought 84,000 less migrants, compared to the previous year. Statista's Fabian Moebus points out that the net migration of 248,000 people is the lowest number of yearly newcomers in over three years.
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo on Sunday condemned a vivid example of reverse racism, when she called for a black feminist festival in the French capital to be banned, saying it was "prohibited to white people." The first edition of the Nyansapo Festival, due to run from July 28 to 30 at a cultural center in Paris, bills itself as "an event rooted in blackfeminism, activism, and on (a) European scale."
