Maine Governor Calls Blacks And Hispanics The Enemy

Maine governor Paul LePage thinks that people of color are the enemy of his state and seems to suggest that they should be shot. The Republican governor of Maine has been criticized for his remarks. Talking about Maine’s drug problem, governor Paul LePage said that “the enemy right now… are people of color or people of Hispanic origin“. Statistics show otherwise. Americans Have Never Been Fatter - And It's Getting Worse

Two recent reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) show that efforts to encourage Americans to lose weight aren't working.

In one study of more than 5,400 adults, the results show that 33% of US adults are overweight, and 38% of US adults are obese. Yesterday in a comments thread here, the reader Elrond wrote:

As always, what’s missing in these discussions is any acknowledgement of white interests. It’s all about the good for blacks and people of color. The good for white families doesn’t even enter the picture.

In case you don’t follow the comment threads, Elrond thinks that I am a total squish on racial issues. I post his comment here because it is an example of the Right using the Left’s identity politics against it.
