Millions Of Bees Quietly Killed In South Carolina Over Christmas

Millions of bees in South Carolina were quietly exterminated over the Christmas holidays as part of a Zika virus pesticide spraying campaign.  Farmers reported seeing millions of dead worker bees littering their farms, noting that the pattern of deaths matched acute pesticide poisoning. Blacklistednews.com reports: By one estimate, at a single Bee Farm in Summerville, 46 hives died on the spot, totaling around 2.5 million bees.

Electoral College Update: Where The Vote Stands As Of 3:15PM ET

For those following today's Electoral College vote, here is the latest vote tally as of 3:15pm ET:

  • 241 electoral votes had been cast for Trump,
  • 127 electoral votes had been cast for Hillary Clinton.

So far that's in line with That's right in line with the results in the 26 states that have already cast their official Electoral College votes. On election day, Trump won 306 electoral votes on Election Day to Clinton's 232.

In the first woman appointment to Trump's administration, South Carolina Govenor Nikki Haley has accepted the president-elect's offer to be his ambassador to the United Nations, NBC News reported this morning. The daughter of immigrants from India, Haley served three terms in South Carolina's State House before winning the governorship in 2010 and again in 2014. A two-term governor, Haley, 44, initially backed Trump rivals Sen. Marco Rubio and then Sen. Ted Cruz during the GOP battle for a White House nominee.

South Carolina Police Conduct Roadside Cavity Search

Police officers in the South Carolina city of Aiken recorded themselves as they exposed an African-American driver’s breasts and searched  her partner’s rectum. The disturbing dashcam video from 2014 shows at least one member of the police Department search inside the man’s rectum for the ‘crime’ of being a passenger in a car with a temporary paper license plate, which is not illegal in South Carolina. According to the Washington Post, the car belonged to a woman named Lakeya Hicks, who had the paper tags because she had recently purchased the vehicle.
