UK Govt Says Halting Arms Sales To Saudi Arabia Would Have Risks

The British government has claimed it cannot halt its weapons sales to Saudi Arabia because of “serious political ramifications” Halting arms sales to Saudi Arabia over concerns that British-made weapons could be used to break humanitarian laws in Yemen would have “serious political ramifications”, a London court heard on Wednesday. Government lawyer James Eadie made the remarks during a UK High Court’s judicial review of London’s extensive arms deals with Riyadh.

Thousands Of Army Troops Prepare For Civil Unrest In U.S. Cities

The U.S. military have announced that they expect civil unrest to become a major problem in cities across America in the very near future, and have begun training soldiers to prepare for urban warfare.  In Southern Indiana, the army have built a dedicated 1000-acre urban warfare training center that contains houses, apartment buildings, schools, and hospitals. Soldiers use the facility to simulate a U.S. civil war involving members of the public. Military Deployed As Anarchists Take To Streets In Brazil

Authorities in Brazil are on the verge of declaring a state of emergency as anarchists have taken to the streets amid an ongoing police strike.  Over 100 people have been killed in the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo, as hundreds of military patrol the streets in order to try and keep order amongst the millions of citizens. Yahoo News reports: “We cannot establish definite motives for these killings at this time as the crisis is still ongoing,” said Gustavo Tenorio, a spokesman for the police union.
