US Tanks Arrive In Germany To Support NATO Anti-Russian Buildup

Hundreds of US tanks, trucks and other military equipment have arrived at the German port of Bremerhaven to be transferred to Eastern Europe as part of NATO’s buildup near Russia’s borders. The equipment arrived in Germany by ship  and will be transported by rail and road to eastern Europe as part of a NATO buildup that has exacerbated tensions with Moscow The equipment along with  3,500 US troops are to be deployed along NATO’s’s eastern frontier.

Fort Lauderdale Airport Gunman Says Government Controlled His Mind

An Iraq war veteran is accused of killing five people at an airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday. Esteban Santiago 26 was taken into custody immediately following the shooting, questioned at length and was expected to face federal charges in the shooting rampage, said George Piro, a special agent in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s office in Miami. Authorities said Santiago had suffered from psychological problems and had complained that the US government was controlling his mind.

Russia Withdraws Aircraft Carrier Group From Syria

Russia is scaling down its military presence in Syria by returning the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and its group from the Mediterranean Sea back to Russia, the defense ministry reported Friday. RT.com reports: The Kuznetsov group will return to its home base in Severomorsk, the chair of the Russian General Staff, Army Gen. Valery Gerasimov, announced on Friday. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a partial pullout of military forces from Syria after negotiating a ceasefire deal with Iran and Turkey.
