Israel Detains Palestinian Journalist For Four Months Without Trial
An Israeli military court has ordered that a well known Palestinian journalist is to be held for four months without trial or any charges, under the country’s controversial ‘administrative detention’ law. An Israeli army spokeswoman said on Monday said Omar Nazzal is being held on suspicion of “unlawful activity” for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a small PLO faction that has been labeled a terrorist organization by Israel.
