As those who follow Syria’s seemingly intractable civil war are no doubt aware, Washington is a big part of why the conflict is now going into its sixth year.

What began as a plan to destabilize the Alawite government by “playing on Sunni fears of Iranian influence” (to quote a leaked diplomatic cable from then-Deputy Chief of Mission in Syria William Roebuck) gradually metamorphosed into a overt and at times absurd effort to arm and train a series of rebel groups in an attempt to bring about regime change in Damascus.

US Vice President Joe Biden has said that the US and Turkey are prepared for military solutions in Syria if a political solution cannot be found….which is looking increasingly likely.

The US Air Force in collaboration with the world’s largest aerospace company, Boeing, have created an electromagnetic pulse weapon. The non-nuclear weapon can pinpoint buildings and wipe out entire electrical grids instantly without the collateral damage associated with bombs. Digital Trends reports: Known as the “CHAMP,” or Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project, the American military project is an attempt to develop a device with all the power of a nuclear weapon but without the death and destruction to people and infrastructure that such a weapon causes.

US Vice President Joe Biden said that Washington recognizes the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) is as much of a threat to Turkey as ISIS. Speaking alongside the Turkish prime minister during a press conference in Istanbul, Biden voiced his support for a Turkish crackdown, saying Kurdish militants and IS are ‘terror groups plain and simple’ He told reporters that ISIS was “not the only existential threat to the people of Turkey, the PKK is equally a threat and we are aware of that” Turkey has however been criticised over its campaign against Kurdish militants.

A U.S. professor has claimed that China is ready to deliver a nuclear strike on U.S. territory at any moment.  Lyle Goldstein, Associate Professor in the China Maritime Studies Institute at the U.S. Naval War College, says that the Chinese Navy is being set-up in order to launch a nuclear strike against America.
