After nearly a week of eerie silence in which Trump ignored the topic of "leaks" to the press by various US agencies, most notably the FBI, in his first tweets of the day the president reverted to one of his biggest peeves in recent weeks, namely how the "enemy" press continues to get inside scoops into his administration, and tore into the Federal Bureau of Investigations, following a provocative report from CNN which cited "unnamed sources" according to whom the White House tried to urge the FBI to dispute accounts of regular contact between the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and Russia

Kellyanne Conway Blasts CNN Reports That She's Been "Benched" From TV Appearances

Earlier this week "fake news" CNN, citing White House 'sources', reported that Kellyanne Conway had been "benched" from making TV appearances after she gave an interview last week in which she said that Genereal Michael Flynn enjoyed the "full confidence" of President Trump just hours before he was dismissed from his post. 

But, appearing on the Hannity TV show last night (which would be difficult if she were actually banned from TV appearances) Conway blasted the CNN reports saying simply that "somebody’s trying to start up trouble."  Per The Hill:

Trump Delays New Travel Ban To Next Week, No Reason Given Why

A White House official sai on Wednesday that Donald Trump is pushing back the release of his revised executive order on travel and refugees until next week. Trump had said that a revamped executive order, tailored to address legal issues that blocked his original travel ban, would be released this week.  No explanation was given for the delay, and it remains unclear how the White House will tweak the travel ban to prevent future legal challenges.
