Alternative news website Naked Capitalism has struck back at the phoney war against ‘fake news’ websites by launching a lawsuit against The Washington Post. As the “fake news” hysteria grows to unprecedented levels following the fraudulent list of so-called “Russian propaganda websites” published by the PropOrNot organisation, Naked Capitalism’s Yves Smith has threatened The Washington Post with a defamation lawsuit in response to their attempt to silence alternative media by attacking sites listed by PropOrNot.
