Bangladesh has recently suffered at the hands of Islamic Jihadist terrorists, with the government and media labeling the terrorists as Al Qaeda, ISIS or home-grown fanatics. The fact remains that Islamic State terrorism has spread eastward from the Middle East and is now a major concern for the Indian subcontinent. Whatever label you give it, ISIS, Islamic State(IS), ISIL, Daesh, the ideology is the same, and their victims will suffer for it all over the world, from the Middle East to China. English professor Karim Siddiquee was hacked to death in Rajshahi two weeks ago.

On the day Barack Obama is kowtowing to his Saudi allies, and just days after a senior Obama administration finally made the admission that has been a "conspiracy theory" for years namely that "a lot of the money, the seed money if you will, for what became Al Qaeda, came out of Saudi Arabia," the FT is out with another stunning revelation.

The FT has written an article that supposedly focuses on the US sources of growing diplomatic antipathy between the US and Saudi Arabia. The source of disagreement: the treatment of Iran.

Following threats of economic sanctions against America from the Saudi royal family, the Obama administration have hit back by announcing that the original source of funding for Al Qaeda in the run-up to the 9/11 attacks came from the Saudi regime.  The stunning admission follows a serious deterioration in relations between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, after the Whitehouse announced plans to declassify 28-pages from the 9/11 report that implicates Saudi Arabia as having a role in orchestrating the September 11 attacks.

Following a dramatic deterioration in official diplomatic channels between the US and Saudi Arabia when over the weekend the Saudis threatened the U.S. with dumping billions in Treasuries if Congress were to pass a bill probing into their alleged support of Sept 11 terrorists in the aftermath of last weekend's 60 Minutes report on the classified "28 pages" from the Septemeber 11 commission, moments ago the Obama administration made a stunning admission, when for the first time it revealed on the record that the Saudis were the original source of funding for Al Qaeda.
