Seeking help from the public in identifying the killer, Baltimore police released a video Saturday of the murder of an elderly man who was stabbed to death by a young Black male in broad daylight on a main Baltimore highway Friday afternoon.

A Different World

BALTIMORE – We left the fantasy island of modern finance today. We had to take our pick-up truck in for repairs. The dealers all seem to be in East Baltimore… or east of Baltimore… so we drove out of Mulberry Street to Pulaski Highway and finally over to Merritt Boulevard.

Yesterday some readers were offended when we dubbed the upcoming winter storm set to slam the Northeastern United States and impact up to 50 million people, in roughly 48 hours as "potentially historic" - a phrase created not by us, but by the WaPo's meteorologists.
