California Postpones Bill To Prosecute Climate Change Skeptics

A controversial bill that would allow for the prosecution of climate change deniers in California was postponed on Thursday by the California Senate. The California Climate Science Truth and Accountability Act of 2016 (Senate Bill 1161) would have authorised to prosecute fossil fuel companies, think tanks and members of the public who denied man-made climate change.

As we reported yesterday citing a former Bill Clinton politcal staffer and advisor, Douglas Schoen, it is looking increasingly likely that Hillary may be replaced by Joe Biden at the Demoratic presidential convention. As the main catalyst, Schoen cited the outcome of the California presidential primary.  As he writes, "the inevitability behind Mrs. Clinton’s nomination will be in large measure eviscerated if she loses the June 7 California primary to Bernie Sanders. A campus shooting on Wednesday at the University of California left two men dead in a murder-suicided that sent thousands of students looking for safety and locking themselves down in classrooms.

UCLA is a gun free zone that prohibits students from carrying a gun within 1,000 feet of school grounds under Penal Code 626.9 PC, also known as California’s Gun-Free School Zone Act.

What Drought? Trump Tells Californians "We're Going To Solve Your Water Problem"

Forget the wall along the southern border, Donald Trump recently made what may be his boldest claim yet. During a rally in Fresno, California, Trump said that there isn't really a drought, and that if he wins the presidency, he's going to solve the water problem.

 

Trump gathered intel from his friends in California who alerted him to the fact that there is water, but it's being pumped into the sea allegedly in order to protect "a certain kind of 3-inch fish."
