Mitt Romney Blasts Trump: "What He Communicated Caused Racists To Rejoice"

On Facebook this morning, Mitt Romney posted a rather forceful plea for President Trump to pursue "extreme remedial actions" regarding his Charlottesville comments saying that "whether he intended to or not, what he communicated caused racists to rejoice, minorities to weep, and the vast heart of America to mourn."

Adding in a dose of dramatics, Romney explains that absent a forceful apology from Trump "there may commence an unraveling of our national fabric."

As social media and internet companies scramble to ban or otherwise cut ties with extremist and far right-wing websites like the neo-nazi Daily Stormer, which were unceremoniously dropped by the likes of GoDaddy, Google and security firm Cloudflare earlier this week after helping to organize last weekend's deadly "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, a prominent nonprofit has come forward to defend them.
