Search For Survivors Stops After Missing Nordic Plane Found
The mingled wreckage of a Bombardier CRJ 200 plane has been found after it disappeared from radar between Norway and Sweden. The converted freighter was on a mail transport flight when it sent out a distress signal at 11:31pm Thursday night. Rescue workers say there is no chance of finding any survivors at the crash site in the Swedish Lapland. The two pilots had taken off from the Norwegian airport of Gardermoen to transport mail to Tromsø, northern Norway.
