Elevated Levels Of Lead Forces Water Ban In 30 New Jersey Schools

Public schools across Newark, New Jersey, were forced to shut off water fountains on Wednesday after annual testing results revealed high levels of lead in the water supply Officials say they do not know how long students at nearly half of the schools in Newark had been drinking the water,  but added that they did not believe the contamination was likely to pose any serious health risks.

Third Catholic Teacher Admits To Sexually Abusing Students In Spain

In a deepening of one of Spain’s biggest paedophile scandals, a third teacher at a Barcelona school run by a Roman Catholic order has confessed to sexually abusing students. The abuse took place at a Marist school in Les Corts, a Barcelona neighbourhood where a total of three teachers have admitted sexually abusing children. Local.es reports: The man, who is in his 70s and was identified only by his initials A.F., can be heard in the video recorded with a hidden camera apologising to one of the victims he abused in the 1980s.

FBI Orders High School Teachers To Report Anti-Government Students

The FBI have launched a new program forcing high schools across America to report students that display “anti-government” or rebellious behavior to authorities.  The program is an attempt to prevent future terrorists from manifesting, in the governments ongoing “war on terror”. The FBI are urging school teachers to report any “suspicious behavior” to authorities in their new guidelines entitled “Preventing Violent Extremism in Schools“.
