Turkey and Israel are holding diplomatic talks in an effort to ‘normalise’ the relationship between the two countries, after relations deteriorated six years ago following the murder of 10 Turkish pro-Palestinian activists near the Gaza strip in 2010.  Turkish newspaper Hürriyet says that Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has confirmed that “Israel and Turkey will publish a statement about this in the coming days.” Ejpress.org reports: Turkey has repeatedly insisted on three conditions for normalisation: the lifting of the Gaza blockade, compensation for the Mavi Marmara victims and an apol

The US Vice President will be meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv next week to discuss a new military deal. Joe Biden’s office announced his upcoming two-day trip on Wednesday, saying that he will also meet with the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Press TV reports: Moreover, the VP would pay a visit to the city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank city of Ramallah in the occupied lands, as part of a broader Middle East tour that includes stops in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Donald Trump has said that he believes Israel is the biggest victim in the Israeli-Paelstinian conflict, and has vowed to support Israel 100% it it was attacked.  In an interview with “Hannity” on Fox News, Trump was asked whether he would remain neutral on the issue of Israel and Palestine, and whether he views Israel as a “victim”?

Last week, Trump gave an evasive answer on Israel-Palestine in which he said, “Let me be sort of a neutral guy.” This week, Rubio is trying to use this line against him:
