Israeli Police Question Netanyahu In Corruption Probe

Israeli police are interrogating Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over suspicions that he systematically received favors and gifts worth tens of thousands of dollars from a number of wealthy Israeli and foreign businessmen. Netanyahu, the 67 year old chairman of the Likud party will be questioned  under caution at his official residence in occupied Jerusalem al-Quds on Monday evening. Reports say the interview could last for several hours and there may be another meeting later in the week.

Israeli Police Officer Kicks Palestinian Man Out Of Wheelchair

An Israeli police officer pushed a disabled Palestinian man out of his wheelchair on Sunday in the West Bank city of Hebron. Footage captured on a mobile phone shows the officer knocking 53 year old Majed al-Fakhouri backwards and sending him sprawling into the street as a crowd looks on. The incident happened after a 14 year old girl was shot, after she had allegedly tried to stab an Israeli policeman. Mr al-Fakhouri said he had been trying to reach the girl to attempt first aid.
