Texas and the Restoration of a Gold Standard

There has been increasing talk about the potential restoration of a gold standard arising from people and governments across the world seeking to protect themselves from the weaponization of the United States dollar’s world reserve currency status. George Galloway Returns to the British House of Commons

Ready for him or not, the British House of Commons again has George Galloway as a member. On Friday, Galloway, running as a candidate of the Workers Party for the town of Rochdale, was elected to return to the House of Commons.

Many Americans first learned of Galloway when he presented in testimony before a United States Senate subcommittee on May 17, 2005 a powerful and impassioned critique of the US government’s decades of warmongering first in alliance with and then in opposition to the Iraq government, as well as of the US government’s following occupation of Iraq.

Joe Biden Is Not a Marijuana Legalization Candidate

Marijuana legalization is popular in America. In contrast, President Joe Biden is unpopular. Asked About Dead Palestinian Kids, Rep. Andy Ogles Says ‘Kill Em All’

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) was confronted by peace activists in Washington on Tuesday about the Israeli slaughter in Gaza and sparked an outcry for saying “kill ’em all” when asked about Palestinian children being killed with US support.

“I’ve seen the footage of shredded children’s bodies. That’s my taxpayer dollars that are going to bomb those kids,” an activist said to Ogles.

“I think we should kill ’em all, if that makes you feel better,” Ogles replied. “Everybody in Hamas.”
