On average, there are 250 babies born every minute around the world. This adds up to over 130 million new human beings entering the world every year.

Then it’s no surprise that the world’s population, which now stands at a whopping 8 billion, has more than tripled since the mid-20th century.

Ranked: The World’s 100 Biggest Pension Funds

Despite economic uncertainty, pension funds saw relatively strong growth in 2021. The world’s 100 biggest pension funds are worth over $17 trillion in total, an increase of 8.5% over the previous year.

In February, I wrote about doctor and libertarian communicator Ron Paul’s advice from early on in the coronavirus panic that people be outside and active in the fresh air and sunlight — exposing themselves to protective vitamin D, and about this advice having been backed by a new study out of Israel. Dr. Paul had it right all along.
