Obama Indirectly Poo-Poos Donald Trump’s World Policies

President Barack Obama has indirectly attacked Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, saying he knows very little about foreign policy  and not much when it comes to “the world generally.” Obama was referring to Trump’s latest proposal to arm Japan and South Korea with their own nuclear weapons to fight it out with North Korea and China themselves. Trump believes America is not a great nation any longer and needs to sit it out and count the pennies while the rest of the world sort out their own problems, including nuclear proliferation and such other important worldly matters.

As Korean Tensions Rise, S. Korea Creates New “Attack” Army Unit

With tensions between North and South Korea hitting what many believe to be critical mass, South Korea has done something both symbolic and effective, if needed. The IB Times report that a Seoul military official has confirmed that The South Korean Marine Corps has formed a new mobile unit  to attack N. Korea “in case of contingency”.

The United States federal government have told authorities on the West coast to make emergency plans in case of a nuclear attack by North Korea, as the situation between North and South Korea have taken a dangerous turn this weekend.  South Korea have warned that they may be forced to react militarily if North Korea continue to provoke them: “If the North continues to make provocations despite the stern warnings made by our military, it is inevitable for us to roll out a strict response that may lead to the destruction of the Pyongyang regime,” the South Korean Chiefs Of Staff said on Satur

US Forces Arrive In South Korea For Joint Military Drills

Amid growing tensions in the Korean peninsula, over 2,000 US troops have arrived in South Korea to take part in a joint military exercise. The joint US-South Korean exercises will be largest military drills to be staged on the Korean Peninsula and are both a warning to Pyongyang as well as an effort to reassure the ‘jittery public‘ in the South. Following recent UN sanctions and citing growing enemy threats, the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered his military forces to prepare for using nuclear weapons.
