Up To 57 Different Pesticides Are Poisoning Honeybees In Europe

According to new research European honeybees are being poisoned with as many as 57 different pesticides. The alarming discovery was made by a team from the National Veterinary Research Institute in Poland using a method, more commonly used to detect pesticides in food, to analyse poisoned bees for a range of substances. Using  the new method researchers hope they may be able help unravel the mystery behind the widespread decline of honeybees in recent years and develop an approach to saving them.

Apple: FBI Could Force Us To Activate iPhone Cameras, Microphones Remotely

Apple have warned users that if the FBI wins its lawsuit and forces them to unlock the iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino killer’s – it won’t be long before the U.S. government can also force them into enabling the cameras and microphones remotely on users iPhone’s.  Apple’s head of services, Eddy Cue, said that the FBI’s demands will create a “dangerous precedent” in offering backdoors into users’ smartphones. The Guardian reports: Cue said to Univision: “Someday they will want [Apple] to turn on [a user’s] camera or microphone.

German Scientists Develop Teleportation

German scientists have announced that they have successfully developed a form of teleportation over short distances.  The German physicists from the Friedrich Schiller University say they have used a series of laser beams to transmit information instantaneously without any loss of time. Pravdareport.com reports: The German scientists said that teleportation was possible in Newtonian physics, although its mechanism differs from physics of elementary particles.

Edward Snowden Calls “Horse Sh*t” On FBI Claims It Can’t Unlock iPhone

Edward Snowden has rubbished claims made by the FBI that it needs Apple to unlock the iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino shooters.  Snowden says that the FBI is talking “horse sh*t” in claiming that it is technically unable to unlock the phone without Apple’s assistance, and claims the lawsuit is fraudulent. RT.com reports: Over a video link appearance at Blueprint for a Great Democracy conference on Tuesday, Snowden took Apple’s side.
