Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on his way to the US capital where he will be meet Donald Trump in the White House on Wednesday. “I am going to Washington to have a very important meeting with President Trump… The alliance between Israel and America has always been extremely strong and it is about to get even stronger,” Netanyahu told the media at the airport as he set off on Monday. “President Trump and I see eye-to-eye on the dangers emanating from the region, but also on the opportunities.

Police used tear gas and arrested dozens of rioters as anti trump protests erupted in Washington, D.C., on the day Donald Trump was sworn in as America’s 45th president. Anonymous leakers at the CIA continue to make claims about Russia and the 2016 election. In response to demands to provide evidence, the CIA has declined to offer any, refusing to meet with Congressional intelligence committees, and refusing to issue any documents offering evidence. Instead, the CIA, communicating via leaks, simply says the equivalent of "trust us."

Hundreds of people including rabbis and Jewish religious leaders, have taken to the streets of Washington, DC to demonstrate against an upcoming speech by Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Trump is due to address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference on Monday night.
