While Trump's push to build a wall along the Mexican border has quietly moved to the backburner in recent weeks, especially with the expiration of the Continuing Resolution looming on April 28, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has continued to receive proposals from numerous companies for what Trump's wall could look like. As we discussed previously, CBP has called for two designs, one made of concrete and one of alternative material, for a wall to be built across the nearly 2,000-mile border.

Smart meters cause a “cornucopia of health issues” for occupants of the 57 million American homes equipped with the new technology, according to the World Health Organization and Cancer.org. The news comes after a major university study into the “smart meter scam” revealed that the new meters regularly “overcharge consumers by up to 582%” while at the same time collecting owner’s data which is then sold to third parties for further profit. Electric utilities have embraced smart meters, pushing aggressively for the mass rollout of the wireless technology.

BEIJING - Predicting ideal conditions for the rare sight, Chinese astronomers announced to Beijing residents Monday that the sky would be visible for a brief two-minute window tomorrow morning.

According to a statement from the China National Space Administration read in part, advising interested citizens to plan on waking early and to consider using a small telescope for better views of the sky.

Just hours after WHO (World Health Organization) declared Sierra Leone’s most recent Ebola outbreak over, there are reports that two people have tested positive for the virus in Leone’s neighboring country of Guinea: Four people were tested and two of them were found to have Ebola, a government agency spokesman said. They were all from Korokpara, a village where three people from the same family have died in the past few weeks from diarrhea and vomiting.

While the world’s attention is focused on the Zika virus, a new UN report warns that a future global epidemic could result in millions of deaths and could be far worse than the recent Ebola outbreak in Africa. The hard hitting  report urges the World Health Organization to reform in order to be ready to combat future crises.
