Russia have named the United States as a threat against its national security for the first time, signalling deteriorating relations between the two superpowers.  President Putin signed a document entitled, “About the Strategy of National Security of Russian Federation“, and for the first time in history it lists NATO and the U.S. as potential adversaries to Russia. Reuters.com reports: It says Russia has managed to heighten its role in solving global problems and international conflicts. That heightened role has caused a reaction by the West, it says.

The Syrian army continue to successfully defeat ISIS around the Turkish countryside, according to Iran’s news agency FARS.  As the battle against ISIS militants continues in the Middle East, the Syrian government have made huge gains against the terrorists in the suburbs of Damascus and surrounding areas. Sputniknews.com reports: “The militant groups’ fortified positions in Zamalka in the northeastern outskirts of Damascus came under a massive offensive of the Syrian army and its allies,” military sources told FARS.

Six former U.S. Presidents have warned the public about an invisible “shadow government” secretly running the United States behind the scenes, who have an “incredibly evil intent”. A new study conducted by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center says that high amounts of sugar found in a typical Western diet increases the risk of breast cancer and metastasis to the lungs.  The findings were published by Cancer Research and reveals just how dangerous sugar is to human health. “A lot of patients are told it doesn’t matter what you eat after you are diagnosed with cancer. This preliminary animal research suggests that it does matter,” said Lorenzo Cohen of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
