In the shadow of Donald Trump’s disruptive primary victories, it is understandable that conservatives at CPAC should seek to identify and unify the different traditions that constitute their movement. And so the annual movement congress kicked off yesterday with Sen. Ben Sasse, Sen. Rick Santorum, and Gov. Gary Johnson as the respective advocates of classical, populist, and libertarian conservatism.

Now that’s a screaming case of the pot calling the kettle black if there ever was one. Mitt Romney has lashed out at The Donald for being a “phony and fraud”, but consider this. During his 16-years at Bain Capital, fully one-fourth or $600 million of the firms cumulative $2.5 billion of profits were scalped from companies which went bankrupt soon after Mitt and his partners got out of town with the loot.
Bernie Sanders has slammed low Internet speeds for users in the US by making a comparison between America and Romania. The US democratic presidential candidate tweeted on Wednesday that “High-speed Internet access is no longer a luxury. It’s crucial for rural America to be connected and do business with the rest of the world” Press TV reports: “Today, people living in Bucharest, Romania, have access to much faster Internet than most of the US,” he later wrote, adding, “that’s unacceptable and must change,” without explaining why he chose Romania for comparison.
