This much is clear – if President Trump (Oh, how I love the sweet agony just uttering those syllables causes annoying people) fails to keep his word, he’s toast. And he should be – we’ve spent decades being lied to, bamboozled, and swindled by both fork-tongued liberals and fake “conservatives.” There’s no more slack to give; we’re done with leeway and wiggle room. The president has two choices: Keep his promises, or fail disastrously. And it looks like he’s going with the former and winning.
Following Obama's quasi-denial, Clapper's outright denial, and Mark Warner's "reckless" perspective on Trump's 'wiretap' accusations, none other than former George W. Bush Attorney General Michael Mukasey has come to the president's defense, explaining that Trump is likely correct that there was surveillance on Trump Tower for intelligence purposes.
The twists and turns of this 'whodunnit' continue as former intelligence officials and former presidents point fingers at each other with varying levels of denial.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman to CNN: ‘Stop Spreading Lies and Fake News’
In a day when Trump supporters organized peaceful rallies across the nation in support of the president, violence broke out Saturday in the liberal, if not quite tolerant, west coast capital of Berkeley, when Trump fans were reportedly provoked by counter-protesters. At a Berkely park across the bay from San Francisco, protesters from both sides struck one another over the head with wooden sticks and Trump supporters fired pepper spray while police in riot gear stood at a distance, Reuters reports.
