According to Joseph Hickman, almost 1,000 soldiers and local civilians in Iraq were exposed to constant streams of toxic smoke from the practise of burning of waste in dangerous ‘burn pits’. Dick Cheney’s Halliburton empire operated around 250 burn pits, which contributed to Halliburton’s $40 billion dollar profit during the Iraq war.

Wayne Lapierre, executive director of the NRA. pulled no punches in a fiery speech yesterday, painting anti-Donald Trump protesters as violent extremists and compared their disruptions to terrorism during a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.

As NBC News reports, Lapierre's comments were among the strongest against the left and the media during the conference in which bashing those opposing Trump's agenda has been a prominent theme.
In its latest annual letter, released at 8am on Saturday, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway said Q4 profit rose 15% as net income increased to $6.29 billion, or $3,823 a share, from $5.48 billion, or $3,333 the previous year, while operating earnings, which exclude some investment results, were $2,665 a share, a slight miss to the $2,717 consensus estimate.
