Mainstream media is going well beyond general speculation over a Trump impeachment. They’re now speculating on numerous ways that Trump could be removed from office through the 25th amendment.
The idea is that Trump is not sane. He is entirely enamored of himself and is running the presidency based on how the outside world sees his actions.
Late last week, according to the Austin American- Statesman, the newly elected sheriff of Travis County, Texas, Sally Hernandez, vowed to limit cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials saying that she would only honor immigration holds for suspects booked into the Travis County Jail on charges of capital murder, aggravated sexual assault and "continuous smuggling of persons".
While the Economist's endorsement of Hillary Clinton - and its antipathy toward Donald Trump - is no secret, we are "confident" there is little connection between the economic publication's ideological leanings and the just released report by the Economist's in house Intelligence unit, which has officially demoted the US to a second-class democracy.
