A beetle invasion of biblical proportions has plagued the beaches of Mar de Ajó and San Bernardo in Argentina. The weird phenomenon has taken locals by surprise as the cause of this beetle invasion remains, as yet, unexplained. Some locals have claimed that the influx of beetles is some kind of ominous warning warning of ‘impending doom’. This comes just days after a town in Oregon, USA reported hearing screaming sounds which some residents said were an omen of something “bad about to happen”. Could climate change be responsible for this strange phenomenon?

The unexplained screeching noises have occurred in Forest Grove, Oregon – and residents are so frightened of the high-pitched sounds that they have begun preparing for the arrival of aliens or a catastrophic event.

Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic unveiled a new version of its SpaceShipTwo space tourism rocket on Friday. Virgin spaceship VSS Unity is designed to take tourists into space. Its the first spacecraft to be tested since the deadly 2014 crash that destroyed the original rocket and killed one of the pilots.
