Residents of a town in Oregon have been have expressed fear that a mysterious screaming sound that has plagued them every day and night may be an omen of some kind of impending doom. The unexplained screeching noises have occurred in Forest Grove, Oregon – and residents are so frightened of the high-pitched sounds that they have begun preparing for the arrival of aliens or a catastrophic event. One resident said the sounds resemble a violin being played: What it sounds most like is bowing the edge of a metal plate -yes, a violin or base fiddle bow and a thin plate of steel say a foot square.
