A Muslim immigrant from Bosnia has been sent to jail in Switzerland for refusing to allow his daughter to take swimming lessons at school. The man had insisted that a full body Islamic swimming costume would still have left parts of her daughter’s body visible to prying eyes. The Daily Star reports: Bosnian immigrant Emir Tahirovic, 40, had already come into criticism from school officials by insisting that his daughter wear a hijab. Education officials had tried to ban it but he fought them in court and eventually won permission.

The parents of an eight-year-old schoolboy are furious after his school bought in social services because he had written that he wanted to ‘fight terrorists’. He wrote his comments after learning about the Syrian refugee crisis in class, but his parents say they were grilled by his head teacher over fears that he may have been radicalised. The young boy is is the latest child to get caught up in the new duties of schools to report suspicious behaviour.

A new form of Yoga has arrived in Canada that employs shouting and swearing profanities in order to arrive at a zen like state.  Rage Yoga founder Lindsay Istace says she decided to create this unconventional form of Vinyasa Yoga in order to stay in shape and become “Zen as f***”. Upi.com reports: Classes are held weekly at Calgary’s Dickens Pub on Mondays and Wednesdays and feature a slower paced yoga style “with more F-bombs” and welcomes students to stay around for a beer afterward.

A 23-year-old Ukrainian immigrant to the U.S. with an expired visa, who for several years masqueraded as a high school student was arrested by police in Pennsylvania. Artur Samarin assumed the identity of Asher Potts and became a high-flying US high school pupil after his visa expired in 2012. The Evening Standard reports: He had somehow obtained social security documents and a drivers’ licence, according to police in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He has been charged with theft, identity theft, and tampering with public records, Pennlive.com reported.
