CNN has been caught red-handed feeding fake news into the public arena in order to trick independent news outlets into publishing it. The false report about CNN airing porn for 30 minutes on Thanksgiving day went viral on social media on Friday, with other major mainstream media outlets running the story without doing any fact checking. CNN have since admitted that they helped perpetuate the story in order to trick alternative media into republishing it so that they could then accuse them of publishing ‘fake news’.

According to Amber Lyon, a three-time Emmy award winning journalist, CNN is routinely paid by the US government and foreign governments to selectively report on certain events and make up fake news stories. Furthermore, the Obama administration pay CNN for editorial control over some of their content. Redflagnews.com report: Back in March 2011, CNN sent a four person team to Bahrain to cover the Arab Spring. Once there, the crew was the subject of extreme intimidation amongst other things, but they were able to record some fantastic footage.

A Washington Post article inaccurately claims that Russian propaganda has managed to manipulate the internet and affected the outcome of the US presidential election by spreading Fake News. In the article the newspaper promoted a shady website called PropOrNot, which has created a Chrome extension to censor websites that it does not agree with and deems to be “fake news.” The US news organization has been ridiculed by anyone who has read their article which shows contempt for people’s free will and intelligence.
