A 20th Century Fox promotional poster for X-Men: Apocalypse,  has pissed some people off. The poster shows Jennifer Lawrence’s character Mystique getting strangled by Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse, with the tagline, ‘Only the strong will survive’ The advertisement demeans women and glorifies violence while leaving one bewildered as to the fate of mankind.  Metro reports: Many fans on social media have criticized the poster, with actress Rose McGowan also taking to Facebook, saying ‘Fuck this sh*t’ in response to a blog post.

On June 6, 2016 a group of Satanists will use GPS technology to construct a giant pentagram in Los Angeles in order to raise awareness for Satanism. 6-6-16 marks the date that the Satanic Temple in Los Angeles will construct the giant pentagram in Lancaster, northern Los Angeles county, in order to “raise awareness” for Satanism and Satanists alike. The “666” date was chosen because it closely resembles the Mark of the Best as featured in the Book of Revelation, which the Satanic Temple hope will give them more media attention.

A former senior CIA intelligence officer claims that Al-Qaeda has never existed in the past, and does not exist today in any form.  Michael Scheuer was the CIA’s Chief of the ‘Bin Laden Issue Station’ and has gone on the record saying that the terrorist organisation blamed for the 9/11 attacks was a creation of the CIA. Sex Pistols star John Lydon has claimed that BBC bosses ‘blacklisted’ him and the band from appearing on BBC shows after he exposed Jimmy Savile as being a Paedophile back in 1978.  Lydon gave an interview to Radio 1 in which he claimed Savile was a “hypocrite … into all kinds of seediness … that we’re not allowed to talk about“. The BBC subsequently shelved the Jimmy Savile claims by the Sex Pistol star, which later turned out to be true after hundreds of allegations of sexual abuse against the DJ came to light after Savile’s death in 2011.

Twitter is pounding Donald Trump with the hashtag #ChickenTrump after the Republican presidential nominee refused to face Bernie Sanders in a debate. Sputnik reports: The plan for the debate began on Wednesday evening, when Trump appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! TV show. During the interview, Kimmel read a note from the Sanders campaign inviting Trump him to a debate in California. “That could happen, I’ve been saying that should happen anyway,” Trump said.
